Entrepreneurial Management and Finance

For graduate students only with a preference for engineering and science majors. This course places an emphasis on managing the challenges experienced by high-growth ventures, especially those based on innovation-based products and services. Students develop a set of skills and approaches to becoming effective entrepreneurial leaders and managers.
Applications for this course will be reviewed by the instructors, and students will be informed of decisions prior to the start of the course.
MS&E 140 and ENGR 60, or equivalents.

Enrollment in the course requires attendance at a VC field trip (via web conference or in-person), and commitment to participation in several team-based activities (via web conference or in-person).
